Tegal Amba River Getting Cleaned

Hopefully the locals can take care of this river by maintaining it clean

Today, 59 East Jakarta Water Resources (LH) Unit personnel deployed to clean up Tegal Amba River, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.

2,000 Sacks of Mud from Six Channels in Grogol Transported

"We use hoe and garden fork to pick up garbage and put it in sacks. Later on, we transport it using truck," conveyed Leo Tantino, East Jakarta LH Unit Leader, Saturday (7/6).

This river flows across three urban villages: Pondok Bambu, Klender, and Duren Sawit Urban Villages; as long as two kilometers. Formerly, his side has also deployed 500 joint personnel to clean this river.

"Hopefully the locals can take care of this river by maintaining it clean," he expressed.

In order to prevent garbage from clogging the water flow, Pondok Bambu Urban Village, Angga Sastra Amidjaya will also remind his residents for not littering and to keep the environment clean, especially water channel.
